What we do with the information we gather 
We require this information to identify you as an individual and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons: 
to allow the accurate identification of a user by, for instance, a manager or assessor 
to permit the recording of individuals’ achievements and competencies as pertain to their target qualification’s requirements 
to enable facilities such as automated notifications of important e-portfolio actions 
Who might see the information you provide 
The information you provide in the use of SkillWise software products will only be seen by appropriate parties. For instance, in the case of a learner submitting evidence, their Assessor, Line Manager and Internal Quality Assurer (who will have been specifically allocated to that learner) may be able to see the evidence item along with its description. Only parties such as the learner’s assessor will be able to see personal information such as the learner’s contact details. No data can be viewed by any party who does not specifically require access to it as a normal part of the assessment process.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. 
How we use cookies 
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive.
