This privacy policy sets out how SkillWise UK Limited uses and protects any information that you provide when you use its website or software products.  SkillWise UK Limited is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using our software products or website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. SkillWise UK Limited may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to identify you as an individual and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons: to allow the accurate identification of a user by, for instance, a manager or assessor to permit the recording of individuals’ achievements and competencies as pertain to their target qualification’s requirements to enable facilities such as automated notifications of important e-portfolio actions

Who might see the information you provide

Appropriate parties will only see the information you provide in the use of SkillWise software products. For instance, in the case of a learner submitting evidence, their Assessor, Line Manager and Internal Quality Assurer (who will have been specifically allocated to that learner) may be able to see the evidence item along with its description. Only parties such as the Learner’s Assessor will see personal information such as the learner’s contact details. No data can be viewed by any party who does not explicitly require access to it as a normal part of the assessment process.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive.
